Christmas Party was a big success!
We were so happy so many of you were able to attend our Christmas Party in the Park on Dec. 11, 2021. We had over 550 families register to attend and we provided gifts to all people with Down syndrome and their siblings. Our community’s generosity never ceases to amaze us! A special thanks to Blacker Orthodontics for their toy drive and very generous donation.
So many people came together to help make this event a success: DJ Ron, Save This Memory photography, the food truck vendors, medical professionals from Dignity Health, Just Serve volunteers, ASU students, our Board members and of course – our wonderful families, donors and supporters.

From Gina Johnson, Executive Director & Founder
I’m so excited to introduce Lynn Ferron who recently started serving on our Advisory Council!
We met Lynn when her son Brett was born in 2009. Lynn and her husband, Bob, have always been involved in making our world a better place. They’ve been involved in our local government and they are the kind of people everyone wishes could be their neighbor.
Lynn and her family LOVE sports so they recently created a wonderful flag football league for kids with DS. I love the way they always give their best to all they do.
Lynn is who connected us with the Town of Gilbert so that every year on World Down Syndrome Day (3/21) we get to have them light up or Water Tower in the beautiful colors of yellow and blue, representing Down syndrome. We love you Lynn and your family!
